First start
For the initial setup, you can simply power your ESP32 via micro USB and a mobile phone charger.
Open the Wi-Fi settings on your smartphone or PC and check the list of all available networks. BierliftKE.
Selects this network and, after a prompt, types the password 0000-0000 ein. (Note: As of version V.2021.07.25a, no password is required.). Ignores the message that this network has no internet connection.
Start any internet browser and type into the address bar 192.168.4.1 ein. Die Hauptseite des BierLiftOS sollte sich öffnen.
Switches to the menu WiFi and configures the WLAN settings. For WiFi mode select Access point + Client even if you only want to control your Bierlift via the home network in the future. If you do not have a WLAN on your Bierlift, select Acces point Mode. Clicks on SAVE. The server will restart and try to connect to your Wi-Fi network.
Verbindet euer Smartphone/PC wieder direkt mit dem BierLiftOS. Im Navigationsmenü unter IP könnt ihr nun sehen, unter welcher IP ihr das BierLiftOS in eurem Heimnetzwerk aufrufen könnt.
